I love the research and fact-finding process; yet, I love crafting a writing piece into an engaging, informative, yet lyrical whole. The following is a description of just some of my business-oriented writing projects.
Greenworld: I created this column for OptiMyz' national national health and wellness magazine. I focused on raising issues that brought together, in the readers' minds, concern for the environment - especially as it affects human health. Click here to see samples.
Fashion: I wrote copy for, and assisted with the design of, a Spring fashion flyer, as part of a Province-wide campaign to promote one of the largest malls in Nova Scotia. Click hereto see one of the pages.
On-line Newsletters: I wrote Community Profiles for Small Business BC; a column designed to showcase the benefits of doing business in various communities throughout the province. Click hereto see a sample.
Created and co-wrote "The Lucy Gray Agency", a 1/2 hour comedy with her sister, Pamela Jones. We have the ability to finish each other's sentences (and usually read each other's minds), so we made the perfect duo to bring Lucy and her quirky friends to life. Served as StoryMaker Entertainment/T'seneglobe's award-winning script Restoration, for StoryMaker's award-winning short "Scarlet" and the motorcycle feature "Indian Summer". I am currently working as Story Editor/Researcher for StoryMaker's epic, indigenous-focused Sci-Fi series "Kanata", which is in development.
